The half-way mark

Heyyo so my transfer 6 is beginning today!
I will hit my half way mark on Wednesday 😱

My dear sis Robertson will be leaving me on Wednesday and I will go back to just 2 in the companionship. Up to this point I've been in a trio for the majority of my mission if you count the mtc. Both ways are great, but it will be nice to have a kitchen table again. (Sis Kendrick has been using the kitchen table as her desk this past transfer). I will also be the senior companion for the first time this transfer. :O lots of great miracles are going to come though.

MIRACLE TIME:
this week our friend who is 86 and lives over an hour bike ride away was able to come to church yesterday! (The first time we biked there it took like 2 hours but we are so much faster now hahah). She came to church and said she didn't understand a lot but she is SO eager. Everyone is strengthened by her faith. Some of the elders taught gospel principles and after the lesson we get out and the elders like She's awesome!! Baptize her! And then later he said he wants to do it hahah. She's been reading the liahona and prayinh and reading the Book of Mormon. She is so so great! I am so grateful for her! Everyone was so welcoming to her it was so cute. Shaking hands isn't really a thing here except at church, so when people kept shaking her hand she was kind of nervous about not being super "good at it" so she practiced with her friend Sister Taguma and I. It was adorable.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
On the 18th I will LEAVE MY MISSION to go to a devotional with Elder Stevenson. As homework to spiritually prep for the devotional we've been asked to read two of his talks. The first one I've picked for far is Your Four Minutes from April 2014. It is great!

I'm trying to strengthen my testimony of the Plan of Salvation so I understand what I'm helping people progress towards more. something that it said really helped me. I used to feel like it wasn't fair that the rest of eternity depended on these short less than 100 years that we have on earth. It seemed like my whole class grade would be determined off of one short 10 question pop quiz. Then one day I asked this question in my mission prep institute class and the teacher pointed to a string that he had taped from the back left corner of the ceiling to the front right corner of the ceiling. In the middle of the string was a small knot. He told me that the knot represents us here on earth, and all the space in front of it is our time after this life. He asked if that's kind of what I meant, I said yes. Then he pointed to the back half of the string and said look how much time you've had to study and prepare for this though. The talk I read today reminded me of that experience. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation! The premortal life and the spirit world remind me that Heavenly father amd Jesus christ never abandon us or leave us to do this on our own. Im so grateful fpr their love and plan! I got to teach about the Plan of Salvation this week and it made me so happy and hopeful! The best!

That is all
