Meeting an Elder from Lithuania...and 1/2 done the MTC
ALRIGHT let me just start by apologizing cause pretty much every keyboard here has something wrong w it but I don't have the time to care and correct it hahah so here yu go.
Not sure what to tell you, it's just been another week at the mtc. There's occasionally been frustrations at our own inabilities, but that just gives our kyudoshas more opportunity to act in faith hahah, and for the most part, thye do it and they ry even if they don't completely understand, That's been nice and I've been abkle to love them more through that.
YOO guess what! before sunday night devotional we were waiting in the hall to get into the gym, just chatting w some other senkyoshis and then somehow the senkyoshis we were with started singing called to serve and then everyone started singing it and it was afunny good time. Always fun to listen to all the senkyoshis get hyped on called to serve. But while everyone was singing I wa just looking arund and I SAW A LITUANIAN NAME TAG! I remembered what the name of the church is in Lithuanianand recognized it immediately so we went over talked to him and it was so fun to get him excited and tell him how mucvh I love Lietuva (i think my comps are probs tired of hearing it. .... Best part tghough: it turns out his teacher is one of he missionaries tht taught Darci and my roomates and I WHILE WE WERE THERE!!! So exciting!!!!!!!!!! So we're going to try to stalk him down today befoer his class starts! So excited to see him, he definitely helped me to see how missionaries can help people have the Spirit in their lives more and how it really can help them so much. So that should be good, expect pictures next week i guess hopefully?
This week we helped some senior couple missionaries get settled in which was lots of fun and slightly hectic. Their room are legit. Way nicer than ours of course. they're likehotel rooms. Demo daijobu because the dorms are fun and I love all the shimaitachi.
Starting to get excited for Christmas though! we have a bit of a shrine going on in our room. Evans shimais mama sent us bunch of lights. So every night we get home from class and plug in the Christmas lights. What a great time. And everyone can come appreciate the lights in our room and feel festive haha. Also Woffinden Shimais mama sent us a tree and more festivities so we are living the good life. I think we are gionna donate one of our trees to our elders cause they aint got nothin as far as i know. Christmas is gonna me so fun w my lil mtc fam. What a time to be alive. It's gonna be so sd to leave them in ONLY 4 WEEKS.I think. couldn't really tell you fr sure if that's correct. I'm going w it for now though.
Man idek what to say. Literally everyday i cry of laughter at some point but by pday i cant even remember why, and I'm sure even if I could it wouldn't be that funny to all you in the real world hahah.
Oh! But guess what@! Elder Pack from Red Deer BABYSAT MIKE AND MISTY'S KIDS back in the day! Befiore Eli existed. Dang I miss those kids, love 'em so much. Yuou gotta make sure that info gets to mike and misty. The best. Also Pack choro is showing me up in terms of patriotism so I'm being accused of being a fraud. I've just got to stay strong in the way I say bag tag and flag. Also I founf out Americns strictly call pylons cones, whereas I switch back and forth between the two. Fun fact. Another fun fact! This ones moe embaressing though. I finally got The church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints down in Japanese. Key phrase to know how to say. So ya now i'm basically redy to go the motherland of Nihon.
Straight up though I don't know what to tell you, I'm sure I'll have more interesting updates out in Japan but this is all I've got.
Pretty sure my emails don't make sense 90% of the time so sorry about that as well.
Peace and love, enjoy yourselves out there in the real world, but remember to feel the spirit!
Oh also I finished my first journal this week, nani the heck. If you want to you can sen me one of my jurnals? If you do wnt to send one plz send the empty black one w the elastic thing around it that hold it together. It'll be a great one i just know it. It should be in the top right corner of my bookshelf.
Very scattered today hhaha. trying to hurry so I don't go over the time.
